the trick is not caring what EVERYBODY thinks of you and just caring about what the RIGHT people think of you.

The new and improved Pop-Up CD CaseThe Pop-Up CD Case is now a 6 panel case that can hold a booklet inside the first panel (which is sealed when not used), matt or gloss laminated and can fit perfectly in a standard printed card sleeve to add an extra element to a release. Pricing now includes CD replication/printing, the case can now be double sided printed at an extra cost (print on the inside of the spine like the above example). The minimum run is now 500 cases but pricing is much better than before, a run of 500 now costs around £100 more than before with CD replication, shrink wrapping and UK mainland delivery included in that price, when before it was around £100 less but for the 4 panel cases only.I’m putting the finishing touches to everything before getting these on the site next week, there’ll be more info to come then.www.acdsleeve.com24.05.2013

IN – Natsuo Kirino
A literary mystery from the Queen of Japanese Noir.
R is the other woman in a 1940s novel that recounts the damage she did to her lover’s family. Her identity remains shrouded in mystery. Tamaki is determined to find out who R really was. A writer herself, she is working on a book about R and begins to uncover clues about the true story behind the novel. As Tamaki throws herself into her research, her own life begins to strike echoes with the subject of her work.
The idea for the cover was to have layered sheets of paper to reflect the depth of this novel-within-a-novel. The type is an adapted version of Century Schoolbook which helps to give a period feel, and yellow was chosen for the title as it is a significant colour in the book.
The photograph is by Guillaume Amat / Millennium Images, UK.

Online communities are quick to form, but they’re just as quick to fade, to become less open and to become less trusting because sometimes we have a cultural orientation toward taking, not giving. We forget to feed the network first, to take care of those we care about.
